I run twice
And she's closing
She's closing up her eyes
Head high
She knows who'll live
And who is gonna die
She's Lord
Above
There's a middleman in here
I run hot
But she holds me
I feel like giving up
She's gold
And she's holy
And no one knows her mind
But oh Lord
I fear
There's a middleman in here
And I'm high
But I'm low down
As simple as they come
What I
Got to show now
That I can find the time
Chase him
That satan
There's a middleman in here
Come on back to meet him
Come on home
He's always there to meet you
Always where you are
Come on back to meet him
Come on home
He's always there to meet you
He's always where you are
And it's time
He's holding
All of us to fire
What I
I won't do
Is give him what is mine
One more
Barre chord
For the middleman to hear

The indie pop on Songs From Another Life sounds confident yet delicate, and the strummy and jangly guitars makes me long for spring. Some songs sound like straight up Teenage Fanclub worship, but in a good way. Fans of The Byrds and Big Star will probably dig this as well. Niek || Add To Wantlist
What a fantastic album! I've only listened to the full record once so far, but man, this is going to be on steady play for me for awhile. Lyrics are worth savoring, arrangements are engaging and varied, and the vocals just hit that auditory groovy spot. Favorite song is going to change with each listen, so I'll start with the first track. Russ Isabella
